My Experience With Different Internet service Providers(ISP)

My Conclusion after using Various mobile internet service provider like Airtel, Vodafone, Docomo.
Since I start surfing on net I uses Airtel on my Nokia mobile phone to Access to the Internet. And at the time when i was not well known with the other service providers like- Vodafone, Docomo etc. And hears the internet schemes of these service providers I thinks that "What the rubbish I am doing with airtell, why don't i pick some another service provider". And then after some time I dump my Airtel sim and buy a new one service provider i.e. "Docomo". For first 3-4 days I was very happy to buy my first, service provider after Airtel becouses Docomo is provided to me with many type of schemes like free messages and 1p call etc. but my happiness did not remain confined on my face for a long time. One day when I firstly tried to get connected to Internet service using my  Docomo, I choose up the plan of  500 mb in 15Rs. and tried to subscribe that plan by *191# and then they sated to me that "your plane will be started in 48 hours" It is little freaking to me and I start waiting for service to be get started, first hour spent, second hour spent third hour spent but my service did not activated, yes i am not wrong in between 3 hours the service is not activated, then when i get frustrated I stop that service by *191#, again after two days when I have to check my very important mail on Gmail and when I think to get connected using my Docomo I got memorized my first experience, so, I preferred firstly to talk to customer care executive, she told me that I can start my service by sending a simple massege  "gprs15" to "121" and I done same as she said, my plane get activated recently then I send message for settings I got the setting after saving all the settings which I got from the Docomo server. First I tried to run internet on my phone it run easily and smoothly then I think that "it is not that bad that i think in my first attempt" and get my phone connect to my PC and tried to connect to the internet using my PC suit it got connected i get so happy but my happiness can't remain confined again for a long, after a while when I tried surfing using my FireFox. The pages got unable to open due to Request time out. Then I tried all the other ways that I know, I make dialup, changed settings, done everything that I can do. But all of that of no use then I again get connected to customer care they told me that "it would be a setting problem that you  having, and try to reset all the settings" and disconnected the phone I do same, but this is also of no use then I connect again to customer care then they refer me to their manager their manager told me the manual configuration setting for my PC suit and said "after applying it, you can use the Net on your PC"  but it is also of No Use, I spend a whole day on that and my important work goes to dump, my appointment was given to someone else. Then I got completely frustrated by Docomo services and broke that sim right there. And purchased a new vodafone sim and think that would its services are good but the services of vodafone is more and more difficult, firstly they have only two gprs plane one of 98Rs and another is of 4Rs so, to check vodafone services I choose to 4Rs pack and subscribe to it after the subscription when the time come to get the setting it is the most difficult work, still today I don't know how to get the settings of vodafone after a time with Vodafone I realized that the Vodafone services are also only a make user dumb machine.
Then after a week I Again pick my Airtell sim and tried to get connected to internet I found that it is still easier then else to activate the internet on airtell you just have to dial a no. *567*1#  and the internet activation screen immediately came on my screen with there three planes I choosed one and my internet got activated instantly, after it I have to send only a one more messege to 543210 to get all the settings and my setting also delivered to my phone instantly after saving it when I connect it to the computer it got connected instantly. No manually configurition, no more effort to do, just one touch Internet Access on My PC suite and I am Surfing On my Computer perfectly with the downloading speed of 15Kbps at day time. I got amazed and cancluded that even this diwally Docomo is bringing 3g Service for their users but the Airtel Bharti Is the Best Internet Service Provider For ME.

Is your computer infected with virus?

Is your computer infected with virus? Do you often get mysterious error messages?
Well this is a common problem faced by almost all the computer users across the globe. There are many viruses and worms out there that could infect your computer. Some are harmless, but, they do have the capacity to do any number of nasty things, up to and including, erasing all data from your computer. However there are ways to keep viruses away from your PC. Here are the 12 tips to maintain a virus free computer.
1. Email is one of the common ways by which your computer can catch a virus. So it is always recommended to stay away from SPAM. Open only those emails that has it’s origin from a trusted source such as those which comes from your contact list. If you are using your own private email host (other than gmail, yahoo, hotmail etc.) then it is highly recommended that you use a good anti-spam software. And finally NEVER click on any links in the emails that comes from untrusted sources.
2. USB thumb/pen drives is another common way by which viruses spread rapidly. So it is always a good habit to perform a virus scan before copying any data onto your computer. NEVER double-click the pen drive to open it. Instead right-click on it and select the option “open”. This is a safe way to open a pen drive.
3. Be careful about using MS Outlook. Outlook is more susceptible to worms than other e-mail programs, unless you have efficient Anti-Virus programs running. Use Pegasus or Thunderbird (by Mozilla), or a web-based program such as Hotmail or Yahoo (In Firefox).
4. As we all know, Internet is the main source of all the malicious programs including viruses, worms, trojans etc. In fact Internet contributes to virus infection by up to 80%. So here are the tips for safe surfing habits so that you can ward off virus infection up to the maximum extent.
• Don’t click on pop-up windows that announce a sudden disaster in your city or announce that you’ve won an hourly prize. They are the ways to mislead Internet users and you should never trust them.
• You can also use a pop-up blocker to automatically block those pop-ups.
5. Most of us use search engines like Google to find what we are looking for. It is quite obvious for a malicious website to get listed in the search results. So to avoid visiting those untrusted malicious websites, you can download and install the AVG LinkScanner which is a freeware. This tool can become very handy and will help you to stay away from malicious websites.
6. Install a good antivirus software and keep it updated. Also perform full system scan periodically. It is highly recommended that you turn on the automatic update feature. This is the most essential task to protect your PC from virues. If PC security is your first option then it is recommended that you go for a shareware antivirus software over the free ones. Most of the antivirus supports the Auto-Protect feature that provides realtime security for your PC. Make sure that this feature is turned on.
7. Install a good Antispyware program, that operates against Internet malware and spyware.
8. Never open any email attachments that come from untrusted sources. If it is a picture, text or sound file (these attachments end in the extensions .txt, .jpeg, .gif, .bmp, .tif, .mp3, .htm, .html, and .avi), you are probably safe, but still do a scan before opening.
9. Do not use disks that other people gave you, even from work. The disk could be infected with a virus. Of course, you can run a virus scan on it first to check it out.
10. Set up your Windows Update to automatically download patches and upgrades. This will allow your computer to automatically download any updates to both the operating system and Internet Explorer. These updates fix security holes in both pieces of software.
11. While you download files from untrusted websites/sources such as torrents, warez etc. make sure that you run a virus scan before executing them.
12. And finally it is recommended not to visit the websites that feature illegal/unwanted stuffs such as cracks, serials, warez etc. since they contribute much in spreading of viruses and other malicious programs.

Find Originating Location Of an Email Using Its IP address

Here’s a quick how-to guide on how you can track email to it’s originating location  by figuring out the email’s IP address and looking it up. I have found this to be quite useful on many occasions for verification purposes since I receive lots of emails daily due to my blog. Tracking the IP address of an email sender does require looking at some technical details, so be ready to dig your heels in!

There are basically two steps involved in the process of tracking an email: find the IP address in the email header section and then look up the location of the IP address.
Finding the IP address of an email sender in Gmail.

Let’s go ahead and take a look at how you would do this for Google, Yahoo and Outlook since those are the most popular email clients.

Google’s Gmail

1. Log into your account and open the email in question.

2. Click on the down arrow that’s to the right of the Reply link. Choose Show Original from the list.

Now here’s the technical part that I was telling you about earlier! You need to look for the lines of text that start with “Received: from“. It might be easier to simply press Cntrl + F and perform a search for that phase. You’ll notice that there are several Received From’s in the message header. This is because the message header contains the IP addresses of all of servers involved in routing that email to you.

To find the first computer that originally sent the email, you’ll have to find the Received From that’s farthest DOWN. And at the farthest down you find (Received:72.204.154.191). And the numbers are the IP address of the sender which was

was routed to your ISP’s server and so on and so forth till it got to your email server.

And after all the above process you got the ip of the mailer and you can find its location simply by

1. Goto the search engine and search for "IP to Location" open a link

2. Insert the ip address in the required field and hit search.

and the IP to location will find the location of the IP for you.
